Good thick paper, I like the Matte look.

I prefer Matte over Glossy.

but you must like the matte, not glossy, finish.

I bought the matte because I don't like the shine that regular picture paper uses and the finger prints that get on them

Dissappointed since I prefer the matte over glossy prints.

The photos look better on the glossy paper, but I'm reproducing very old pictures, and sometimes the matte just looks more authentic.

Not a fan of glossy prints so this gives you a great matte print!

I thought I could save money by printing some photos on this less expensive matte photo paper.

And I'd be really surprised if the emulsion was any better than Canon's more expensive Pro matte paper.

So I ordered this Canon MATTE photo paper, turns out its a cardstock (the ones you use for crafts & arts) its not the genuine matte photo paper that is used in a photo studio

I have contacted HP to find why they unceremoniously dropped their more robust 4X6 matte but got no real reply other than they understood my concerns and valued my business, etc.

"it is great because it's great for being great" like some people "qualify" the paper as, but as a substrate pushing a decent amount of contrast to give it a fairly professional look without the distracting shine of glossy
