The paper itself feels very flimsy, and when I tore up a few bad prints, it really just feels like a thicker piece of copy paper

not like they were printed on standard paper

If you print on the wrong side, the print will look terrible because that side doesn't hold ink properly

I can only assume there is a quality difference in the 4x6 paper that results in terrible prints.

This paper enables very detailed colorful prints in a great size

I haven't tested the papers with long term quality to see if pictures fade over time, but as for now the prints are amazing.

I was keep look for a good print quality and cheap price photo printer that I can test-out the detail and color before send the final image to photo lab for production.

On my Canon printer it does print much better when you choose the print option "matte photo paper" versus regular paper.

Do not use this side for the best prints.

The graphics printed on this are no better than if you print on good cardstock

Water will still smudge the print but fingerprints do not show and my oldest prints retain their excellent colors.

If you are framing, hang the print to dry for a couple of days or the ink will leak and stick to the glass.

A dull blade is more forgiving on glossy and semi-gloss, since they have a plastic-like coating, but as long as your blade is sharp, this matte paper will give you excellent prints that trim like a charm!

Might as well just print on cardstock

Matte looks great and is a nice break from super-glossy prints.

Colors look fine as printed by our Epson P1400.

Also it's has much more longevity-if you touch it with your sweat fingers it won't smudge as gloosy prints

High Gloss Ultra Premium Professional Photo Paper (or any other of its 10,000 other names) might be the fashion trend with the status quo nowadays, but for me I prefer printing on matte paper any day

I read online that matte paper was better for larger photos but the photos I printed out on this paper looked like they were printed on regular paper, so if you are looking for decent quality prints I would go for glossy paper or maybe semi-gloss at the least.

Just be careful, if you aren't familiar with how paper works (I don't), but from my understanding, a treatment is applied to either one side or both sides of the paper and you will notice a completely Dull print if you happen to print on the wrong side of the paper.

This paper, on the other hand appears to be nothing more than cut sheets of cardstock, and the prints look exactly like that... like you printed on paper or cardstock and cut into a 4x6.

It does hang up i the printer once in a while.
