This has a very nice, bright MATTE coating on one side and produces very high quality prints like all of Canon's papers I have used.

I was keep look for a good print quality and cheap price photo printer that I can test-out the detail and color before send the final image to photo lab for production.

Canon Photo Paper Plus Semi-Gloss quality is great but price is little bit higher than Glossy or Matte

There are better papers available for finished work, but Canon's matte photo paper is an ideal paper when you need better quality without the premium price.

This is very nice quality paper - the colors come out very vibrant on it and it is the perfect thickness for my junk journaling

I'm using this to print postcards and while the quality seems good the black text I printed still smudges after 4 days of "drying"

This paper by canon is very good quality

Not high enough quality to print cards or gifts.

I read online that matte paper was better for larger photos but the photos I printed out on this paper looked like they were printed on regular paper, so if you are looking for decent quality prints I would go for glossy paper or maybe semi-gloss at the least.

It still is poor quality and I had better luck with printer cardstock.
