I love the quality and all the features the camera has

This is a fantastic feature, as it not only saves me from purchasing a separate remote shutter release, but it allows me to actually stand back from the camera and still see what the lens sees while operating it

LOVE the action shots and obsessed wifh the handheld night shot feature.

The features are great

Although my 70D has served well both for bird and macro photography, especially of wildlife on night-time desert roads (I have Sony and Canon full-frame cameras for portraits, landscapes and other uses), this upgrade offers some valuable features for my particular needs, these in particular: 1) 24mp allows me to crop a little tighter, which is sometimes important when I've photographed a rattlesnake's head from a safe distance and want to tighten the frame without losing appreciable sharpness; 2) focusing in dim light is quicker than with the 70D--I often use a headlamp to focus on macro subjects on moonless roads, and that has sometimes been a problem with the 70D, especially with critters that are moving--the 80D does a noticeably better job; 3) an often unsung advantage that I consider major is the 80D's ability to let you use a 1.4 teleconverter with a 100-400 f5.6 lens--just by upgrading I now have a 600/5.6 birding lens, with solid focusing capacity

Probably the best starter DSLR on the market, the SL2 is great for its compact nature, solid features, and dual pixel AF for video as well as friendly price tag.

There is a flip up integrated flash which is a nice feature but limited in the function that I wish to pursue with photography.

Tons of great and useful features and buttons

today I got to connect the camera to my iPhone through wifi and were able to share the pictures without having to transfer photos to computer first, the touch screen is another great feature of this camera.

I prefer this over the joystick mode of Nikon, and the touch screen makes the joystick an unnecessary feature anyways

I have also a 5D (classic) but features in 80D makes easy to choose it as primary because versatility and reliability.

The new features and improved AF system are worth the cost if you already have a bunch of Canon lenses

The quick buttons by the shutter made it so that I can adjust some of the more important features and barely stop shooting to do it.

It is a great feature when shooting low or very high

Part of the reason this one is so expensive is due to its more robust build quality and some other key features like the larger battery, the weather sealing, the 100% pentamirror viewfinder, the added controls, etc.
