Canon EF 24mm f/2.8 IS USM Wide Angle Lens - Fixed

    • I also have the 35mm F2 which I prefer over this do to better low-light and
    • 50mm 1.8.So far, very happy with it.
    • This lens is sharp, but not as sharp as the 28mm USM IS 2.8
    • If you're looking for a great 24mm prime and don't want/can't afford to shell out for one of the faster options out there (Canon 24mm f/1.4 II, etc), you'll be very happy
    • It is not the best quality 24mm that exists, but it certainly is the best under $1000 and it offers a level of portability that higher priced 24mm lenses do not.
    • Why would you need a 24mm lens that's stabilized?
    • getting good results, I'm used to L type pro lenses so this is a reasonable price and a good angle 24mm...
    • f/2.0 FF equivalent which is very close to the classic 35mm FF focal length.
    • The 35mm is quite a bit heftier and this was a pleasant surprise
    • Otherwise, the 28mm is superior in optics and is smaller and lighter than this 24mm
    • On MFT, you will have a 48mm f/2.8 FF equivalent, which is very near the classic 50mm "Normal" focal length.
