Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM Telephoto Zoom Lens for Canon SLR Cameras

    • If you never had Image Stabilization, this will allow you to take sharper photos indoors
    • II still produces magical photos this lens can't replicate
    • I recently snagged a photo of a bride from across the room at f2.8 and was stunned to see that I could see each eyelash and flake of makeup on her eyes.
    • The photos are crisp and awesome.
    • but optically it renders sharp photos with excellent color rendition; durable.
    • But I'll be honest, when I line up a great shot and just know that this thing will produce a 'wow' photo, like the background that this thing renders, the fatigue in the arm and shoulder just blur away smoothly.
    • My photos are amazing with this lens.
    • This lens has helped capture the majority of my most favorite and memorable photos outdoors and in.
    • I have used the Canon 70 to 300 DO lens for a couple of years and loved it's size and weight, but ability to take sharp photos was lacking.
    • Like a Steinway piano makes any piano player sound better, this lens makes any photographer take better photos.
    • My own hands blurred the photo, and I missed what should have been the money shot
    • I received it last week and on Saturday I was taking some amazing photos at my son's high school track meet
    • The F/2.8L lens easily pulls in available light and brightens the photo
    • In short, it produced great photos for my albums and I loved it until I bought the f2.8 IS
    • Does it take great photos
    • The depth of field range is fantastic and the photos look amazing.
    • The lens is acceptably sharp out of the box, but I do suggest to do your MLA (mico lens adjustment) to ensure katana-sharp photos
    • I'm not a professional , just crazy armature and my photos are not always so sharp, but still, even then, the lenses are GREAT help to improve the qualityI recommend this to everyone who have money to spend on it.
    • The autofocus is fast and precise produces very sharp photos and great bokeh
    • I love to shoot at 200mm as well, so it's just incredible to me that I can do that at f2.8 handheld, and still get tack-sharp photos
    • It may be big, heavy, and expensive, but after taking a few tack-sharp photos in variable light conditions you will never mind carrying it, and will never question your initial investment.
    • The photos are so nice, especially the quality and color.
    • If you want great photos then buy this lense..
    • but I like printing out my photos at 17x22 so accuracy of focus is critical and lack of accuracy can't be overcome just by sharpening with Photoshop
    • So if you have the money, bite the bullet and get it, once you get over the pain of blowing a a few thousand on a lens, the photos will make the price worth it
    • Easy to hand hold because it is heavy and with IS makes it easy to get sharp excellent photos of birds, and bring objects close because of the quality of the product.
    • Heavy, but the photos come out crisp.
    • Sure it is heavy, but if you are considering this lens I think you are a person that would rather have superior photos vs. sore arms.
    • Thus, I was often disappointed when I came home to find that some photos were blurred (especially those of my children participating in school events).
    • Every photo I made with this lenses has turned out spectacular.
    • Seriously, this lens is amazing, fast, silent, amazing photos
    • I've recently shot thousands of Youth Soccer Photos with my "non-Canon" 70-300 zoom lens, and although I thought the photos looked awesome, once I
    • It takes amazing photos.
