No lens will make you a pro photographer by itself, as with any tool, you must learn how to use it and how to properly do the job you are attempting to do-- with that being said, this lens has gone a long way in improving the quality of my images, I love it's ability to produce a great bokeh and focus on the subject with great results
-
I also use it regularly for sport photography with excellent results.
-
The 24-105 has also given me great results and has a terrific zoom range on a full frame camera
-
If you want to use this on a Sony, you will get better results with the Sigma MC-11 and possibly better still with the metabones
-
I used it on my Sony with a fotodiox adapter and had good results
-
I hand held 200mm at 1/6th shutter with a sharp, usable result
-
Beyond the fact that it does give good results how can these result be described
-
I can get tack sharp results shooting at 1/30 sec zoomed at 200mm
-
I got great, sharp results at ISO 100 as long as I shot with fast shutter speeds (at least 1/125 or 1/160 at 70mm and at least 1/300 or faster at 200mm)
-
I thought long and hard before spending this much on a piece of camera gear, but after seeing the results have no regrets.
-
the 100mm f2.8 L macro and the IS on the 70-200 is better or at least is able to give better results
-
but if you are willing to pack the extra weight this gives essentially equal (maybe ever so slightly better) results at equal apertures and offers one extra stop
-
Simply beautiful results from this lens.
-
GREAT quality in the product and the results!
-
At 2 grand it seems like a reasonable investment considering the fantastic results you get.
-
I started shooting night football; the results were disappointing with the 28-135 f/3.5 to f/5.6 zoom lens that accompanied the camera
-
and I was used to having 24mm on the near side, but the results are so worth it that I don't mind walking away to get the right shots
-
While it has spent most of its time hand-held yielding great results, my photos of it attached to a tripod with mirror lock-up have been out of control, scary good.
-
I really like the flexibility of this zoom, with it's ultra sharp results and excellent color.
-
I am not too happy with the 24-70 L it lacks sharpness and color if I am any
-
L look somewhat soft, even after being micro-adjusted.
-
Solid build and a great "L" lens
-
Durable L quality
-
I have used and owned numerous Canon lenses, and this is the best L lens, and arguably the finest
-
I am a hobbyist photographer, and I wanted to see what the "L-Lens" hype was all about
-
well maybe a nice L 50mm)
