    • Now, sharpness won't be a concern
    • The NON-IS is pretty good at 2.8, and stopping down to 8.0 showed me crazy sharpness, however, the version two is just as sharp at 2.8 as the non-is at 8.0!
    • I use it almost constantly because of the great low light capabilities as well as the sharpness of the glass.
    • The sharpness and the speed of the lens is absolutely amazing.
    • I finally have a working combination....spectacular color and sharpness through out
    • The sharpness cannot be defeated from 80-200mm in any zoom lens.
    • I am not too happy with the 24-70 L it lacks sharpness and color if I am any
    • I sat on the bow of a small boat and photographed other boats and floating houses in Vietnam and Cambodia while zooming up and down rivers and around the delta and even though my boat was bouncing and the subjects were moving quickly towards me, the sharpness was outstanding.
    • Beautiful color saturation and sharpness at any aperture.
    • Sharpness hold up well with a 1.4X teleconverter, better than the other three lenses

    • Briefly, the newer features over the Mark 1 are: new fluorite elements - increased optical quality and reduced CA and less flare (as to whether that is that good or bad is subjective)
    • I agonized over the upgrade for as long as it took to save the money.
    • It is without a doubt as sharp as my f4 IS ever was.
    • It's as good as or better than my 16-35 on that point because the IS is so good.
