    Canon EOS 5D 12.8 MP Digital SLR Camera (Body Only)

    • Characteristics:-High digital image quality even compared with today's standard.-Long lasting battery life (almost for ever).-A bit bulky and heavy.-Sensor cleaning must be performed regularly (hand sensor cleaning is the only posible option).-Mirror sound louder than aps-c cameras.-Menus and ergonomics are way behind with today Canon's offering in all of the posibles aspects.

    • The 100-400 and the TS-E fall a bit behind on sharpness, but the others are just
    • I own a Canon EOS 1Ds, 11.1 mp camera and it is without a doubt a fine piece of equipment but a bit on the heavy side for an old man like me
    • This is a great camera and brings Canon's top of the range Pro line a bit closer to amateurs
    • I quibble a bit about the location of some of the controls
    • LCD on the back is a bit smaller and dimmer than thenewer more expensive models, so if you have sight issues like I do thenyou might rethink this camera
    • Sounds a bit strange, but that's my experience
