Love the Canon 60D. Takes amazing images.

Just big enough (and I have big XL hands)-Interface/User experience is excellent & typical Canon-Cost is a steal for the quality and features

However, Canon did well to reduce the complexity of photography with the extra dials and buttons in the back.

If you are not a photographer (or studying to become one) and just want a DSLR to capture family events and such, I would definitely stick with the more affordable Canon T1 series.

The camera is a bit lighter then older canons and the trigger is a bit hesitant sometimes but minor things considering the great picture and video quality.

This lens does not have a zoom lock but neither did that monstrous Canon 28-135 which slides open as soon as it falls below horizonal, but the 18-135 stays put

When I was looking to upgrade my DSLR camera, I wanted something I could grow with, as well as not breaking the bank

I could only keep either the Nikon D700 or the Canon 60D, I'd choose the Canon because it is more versatile (stills and video) and the stills are almost as nice as those produced on the D700.
