Canon EOS 60D 18 MP CMOS Digital SLR Camera Body Only

    • The 60D is the only current Canon dSLR with this handy feature.
    • The features are not too difficult
    • My friend's 5D (which is not as straightforward as mine) has a nice feature where I have no button to push.
    • Other outstanding features of the camera: large and very clear rotating viewing screen, very clear viewfinder, good flash
    • I have not had time to take advantage of all the cool features yet, but I will
    • With the 60D you can control the audio manually and a whole lot more because there is a nifty piece of software named "Magic Lantern" that adds a lot of very useful features to your 60D and isn't available for the 7D (at the time of this review)
    • It has to take the some of the good features from both lines and bring them together and also add new things to it to make it useful
    • The increase in frames per second, ability to process RAW images in-camera, better AF and many other nice features also set the 60D apart from other Rebel models
    • The novice photographer to advanced photographer might be better of with the T41 with its many great new features
    • The price point of the camera with such good features is actually great
    • some great features -- higher burst rate, advanced AF system, focus microadjust -- but I decided I could live without those
    • Canon certainly made this camera for the price point and was careful to add just enough features to make it desirable over the T2i, but not desirable enough to compete with the
    • Easy to use over all, but recommend learning the features, as you can do so much more with it
    • One of my favorite features is the rotating screen
    • I don't get it, every time the Canon upgrade their semi-pro camera like this Two-Digit Series D(x0D) we saw a few Great grown up features
    • This is my second SLRBoth from CanonI decided for the 60D as it meets my general needs (vacation and Family photography)I miss two features (that are available is much more expensive cameras) the GPS and the Touch Screen
    • you can't buy a better full featured camera for the money!
    • its a very good camera, with easy access menus and great features, y feel that the movil screen could be fragil for rougth uses, so you must be carefull
    • Plus the 60D's features are so rich, so up-to-date.
    • For an extra few hundred dollars, the 60D adds some intriguing new features and seems to be aimed at the people who want a slightly higher-end camera than the T2i, but aren't ready to shell out the money for the
    • its a very good camera and offers a ton of cool features and they layout is nice, but the camera has some flaws like the electronics and LCD display not showing how it should after about a year or so of use
    • Even though the 70D has some nice features, it wasn't worth twice the price just for the few features I would use
    • Has a lot of nice features and the controls are well set up
    • LCD screen can be flipped out or covered, a very nice feature
    • The price point of the camera with such good features is actually great
    • And even the ones that are cheaper, are missing features that I find necessary for any serious photographer or videographer.
    • It has to take the some of the good features from both lines and bring them together and also add new things to it to make it useful
    • Another feature I like is the size, shape,"heft", and feel of the 60D, enough more than the Rebel series, but not the "boat anchor" feel the 7D can become.
    • The features are awesome.
    • Easy to use with lots of good features
    • Love the settings and all the features
    • The body is very well built and has a Ton of great features
    • Especially if you're using it for film, these features are useless
    • Slightly better weather-proofing (compared to T3i)I think from a price point and feature wise 60D is a good middle ground between the T3i and 7D.Took some really awesome pictures first couple of days and also took it to a test drive at the local beach
    • Quality of display on LCD screen is very good and ability to zoom in on photo being displayed is a nice feature
    • Isn't a FLIP HD camera like a hundred bucks or something? So to sum it up, if my biggest complaint with this camera is that Canon has made us wait for some really great features then they have done a great job.
    • Looks brand new, has so many amazing features that make my photos turn out great!!
    • The HD-video on this camera is a really nice feature as well.
    • Still learning all the features but a great deal and great camera to re-learn how to take photo's before buying a much more expensive camera down the road and being completely lost on how to use it.
    • The good pentaprism viewfinder of 60D was probably the most important feature for me
    • This camera has a lot of great features
    • The AGC disable and manual audio level control in the 60D allows some projects to be accomplished without using external audio recorders although there is still not a way to "monitor" audio from the camera with headphones (one workaround for this will be to do a "test" scene on location and plug the media card into a laptop computer, checking both video and audio that way).Another appreciated feature is the articulating LCD.
    • I bought an additional 40D mainly because of the electronic chip cleaning feature, and now purchased the Canon 60D because of its HD capability and the 20D is starting to show its age
    • It also has a good File Info feature
    • Rotating screen is a nice feature
    • Which leads me to the intuitiveness of the Quick menu on the back panel, where things such as flash compensation can be quickly adjusted, a feature that I
    • My gf loves this feature the most for couple shots, and it makes us less relying on unsuspecting passerby's to take our photo
    • It has so many cool features for video and photo
    • While all the other are great camera as well the features and price of the 60d are a great value
    • But to really take advantage of the camera's comprehensive features, you need to set up and experiment and practice
    • Canon does have a few less features than Nikon, but I don't miss any of those features at all
    • Some of my favorite features include: the flip out lcd screen, fast burst, price, full hd video, lens choices, etc
    • Tons of features great price and a great lens
    • If that feature is important to you, you should skip the 60D and go look at that camera
    • The articulated screen, HD video abilities, and 18 MP sensor were all attractive features
    • Better features, has the ability to vlog, way better photos and more complex.
    • Great features and east to use
    • The 60D uses the LP-E6 battery like the 7D, which is a nice feature as this battery can often last through a full day of shooting.-Processor:
    • It is missing some of the great new features that have been added to the Canon
    • Amazing features on this camera!
    • i'm sure it's a nice feature to
    • Another nice feature of this software is that it is stand-alone (portable), and does not require "installation" into Windows, so it doesn't fool with Windows registry, and it will run from a flash drive or CD/DVD.
    • Well, as every customer notices, the new feature of LED screen is really awesome, especially for seniors
    • Having the digital settings display on top of the camera is a nifty feature as well, also handy for shots where you may not be able to use the viewfinder
    • This addition to Canon's XXD line might initially seem like a minor downgrade to the previous XXD cameras, but several new capabilities actually help make this a nice, well-featured camera that will appeal to many people who don't get caught up in whether or not this is a better camera than it's predecessor
    • and it's a wonderful feature once you try to take pictures in awkward positions
    • so you know that there is quality there and support as well as a full feature line up of lenses.
    • Great Feature works perfect
    • Another small but useful feature is a locking mode dial, if like me, you have ever accidentally changed modes while the camera was swinging at your hip you'll appreciate this feature
    • and 7d, not to improve the focusing from the aging 50D, and failure to offer many appealing new features for the pro
    • From simply being able to fold the screen away safely into the camera so as to avoid scratches or nose prints when shooting to being able to angle the screen for better viewing I have found it to be very useful, well constructed and a better feature than the fixed screen on the back of the 50D (or other similar style cameras).one
    • It's all about your skill level and the features you prefer
    • It's like a suped-up 550D, but I think worth buying, especially if you want all of the good features of the 550 plus some nice attributes from the 7D. I would recommend for good longevity that anyone buying this also purchase an LCD screen cover from GGS and some sort of quality multi-coated UV filter
    • In my mind, it is a desirable feature to have access to even if you prefer to manual focus video most of the time
    • I like this feature because I will get the right exposure always without manually setting the
    • My favorite feature is the Articulating LED display screen.
    • Great features and very good body
    • I recall all the bad press and angry reviews the 50D and even the 40D got when they first came out, always whining about missing features, arguments over the pixel count, is it a real semi-pro camera or not, etc.
    • I'll have to wait for the next innovation from Canon to catch up with the superior video features already offered by Nikon.
    • Bought this for all of the great features
    • (handy feature!).Canon 60D also features loads of new features, great auto focusing modes, I love the fact that the camera uses SD memory (opposite to CF in 7D) as almost every laptop has a card reader for SD these days, so you spare yourself an expense and discomfort of having a separate card reader
    • I had a Nikon DLSR that could not really support a IS lense that was up to 300 because the length was not supported by the body wieght
    • When I was looking to upgrade my DSLR camera, I wanted something I could grow with, as well as not breaking the bank
    • I could only keep either the Nikon D700 or the Canon 60D, I'd choose the Canon because it is more versatile (stills and video) and the stills are almost as nice as those produced on the D700.
    • This may prove useful for videographers, as well as for setting up compositions while the camera is on a tripod, for macro use, or for using it from unusually low or high vantage points.
    • Works as it suppose to...!
    • I have used it to shoot in low light situations indoors without flash as well as for outdoor bright light action shots.
    • and I don't want to give the wrong impression, but the images from this camera are not as nice as from the D700.
    • I recently purchased a used 60D to serve as backup as well as to
    • Needless to say, I have returned Canon back to Amazon (great service, by the way - I would buy ONLY directly from Amazon).I have read many reviews before I ordered Canon 60D camera, as well as on Amazon.
    • I looked at the Nikon D90 and D7000; as well as, the Canon T2i
    • I have used this camera to shoot weddings and other events, as well as for nature photography
    • Last year I struggled as to whether I should get the new (at that time
    • well except when I am cursing as I have to make a change and have to stop and do it with both hands...other than that I overlook
