Considering the very wide range of the zoom (18-135mm, the equivalent of about 28-200mm in a "normal" SLR), the optical quality is very good

My problem is I had a 40D for 6 years which didn't have an articulating screen and it barely had a scratch on the LCD.I had the 60D for two days and the screen, although high quality, is totally scratches
