The lenses available are very limited and the adapter for the Canon DSLR lenses is expensive and extend the lens so that it is still too big to carry conveniently

The inexpensive lenses for it are pretty good as well

But I recommend sticking with the EOS-M lenses; they represent great value for money especially if you can get them in good condition used

but you need something in between and something that will be easy to use with our existing expensive lenses that we have from our other Canon cameras

so grateful battery.kit lense is not that sharp.

I do not expect them to be as good as thousand dollar lenses

It was more difficult to use than my DSLR, and my good lenses will not fit on this mount

Must have: small, lightweight, interchangeable lenses (and a variety to choose from), fully articulated LCD, near zero shutter lag, raw processing, 8 shot buffer minimum, high ISO, viewfinder (with visible histogram), hot shoe
