My theory is you're better off buying a bit behind the curve and still getting great Canon pictures at a great price.

Good price and outstanding quality

Amazon had the best price and clearly spelled out that the zoom lens was the Canon brand lens (other discount sites were vague).

The 32GB card is fantastic and holds lots of shots and the price was great.

Our point and shoot camera does a good job also, but it misses a lot of shots b/c it is too slow.
