If you want a camera with good video quality maybe you should look for a little higher price.

To sum this all up, with the T4i you'd gain: better images/video, high ISO performance, touchscreen, less shutter lag, and a few other things

Oh, did I mention that this camera shoots excellent HD video, significantly above what is criminally sold as 720p or 1080p HD in the point and shoots

Therefore the video may be blurred if you have focused on some close up before you use the video

Video was equally important for me as I often switch between the two when shooting my young grandchildren

The video is also pretty good once you get the hang of it.

This camera is very fast (memory card plays a part in this; we have Class 10) and shoots great pictures and video.

I think the Rebel T5i & SL1 are better choices if you're equal parts into videos and photos as they have far better video modes than the T3 does

The videos I did take were adequate, not exceptional, and the sound quality was ok but not excellent

If you get closer or farther away, or the initial focus was not set (even if AF is engaged), you get a blurry video

It's much better than my cheaper $199 video camera, but

I frequently record live shows and while I get a good quality video I often have to equalize the sound after recording

My brother has professional canon cameras and this one compares nicely - it even does excellent video shooting :)

It also has good quality video (720p at 30fps or 25fps)

The movie mode, while delivering solid video quality, is rather limited

So far so good this camera is in the league with good photos and videos and changeable lenses

so I don't have to wait while photographing the grandkids, superior picture quality, HD video setting, excellent battery life (a must), easy to upload to my computer and was overall reliable

For anyone looking for a tool that takes great pictures and great video, don't expect a lot of control over the video feature, but expect great quality.

The video is crystal clear

But if you record video with the 75-300mm lens, the video will be shaky unless you use tripod or have a very steady hand

All the basic (and not so basic) manual controls, plus an option to take decent video (minus external microphone or many options).It worked fine for me for exactly one month, but now every time I try to take a picture I get "Err 30", which apparently means the shutter mechanism is toast.

The video it takes, while not perfect, is way better than on my phone

It gets worse video quality than my Samsung WB2100, which gets bad video

It takes great video, but you basically have to use the manual focus while video-ing.

The videos are awesome, the pictures are amazing (even if you don't know what your doing), and it is extremely easy to use.

I love this camera, the pictures are great and the videos, although 720p, are more than enough for what I am going to do

I flew all the way to China to take that video, and now I have to fly back and arrange to do another with a proper video camera
