Highly recommend picking up a zoom lens.

The lens it comes with is versatile and a great place to start with digital photography.

You could always upgrade to a better lens in the future

Everything else was just stuffed in there including the expensive, fragile lens

It is so clean, lens is immaculate

The lens that it comes with is good for general purpose photography, but I did buy a nice telephoto lens and a macro lens for more advanced photography.
