Also the STM lens lives up to it's rep as silent and more accurate auto-focus

I take a lot of bird and insect pictures and an accurate spot auto-focus and good image stabilization is essential

There are other Canon cameras with faster focusing, way better ISO and weather sealing that are awesome for weddings, sports ect

Only thing is if you want this for video the quality is not the greatest as the focus is hard to keep I found

I kept coming up against the T3i limitations, however, especially in getting accurate auto focus all the time

Focus seems more reliable on tricky subjects when using the back screen (same as the t4i)

With this camera, I'm confident that the focus is being set right where I want it

Fantastic much improved over my T2i better focus system improved photo quality.
