I would turn off the printer, wait a few minutes and try again and still it kept saying paper jam

This included time spent on going through two road map sized "easy installation" sheets, some basic assembly of parts, a long period of calibration, massive software downloads and updates as well as stepping through an initial setup routine that must be performed both through the printer's touch screen as well as on your PC
