It gives you the option for wireless, cableless sync during the set up.- Great text printing, due to a XL sized black pigmented ink plus 4 dye based inks.- All ink tanks are separate allowing you to change the one that's running out, although that is pretty standard now in printers.- Air Print enabled, once set up through one laptop it automatically worked with all laptops, iPads and iPhones - it just showed up when printing options were selected.- PictBridge enabled to work with Canon cameras

I was impressed with how fast it set up, and was shocked to see that I could get larger ink tanks for the work that I produce on a daily basis

It sensed the low ink tank and warned me..it also stopped dead in mid job of printing if it ran out of said ink

Always love working with Canon printers and their individual ink tank options!

While the printer has 5 ink tanks, there are only 4 colors.

I have taken the time to list the ink tanks in my review so that others would not have to go through what I did as to trying to figure that part out

This printer is a waist of money, only works for a few weeks before ink tanks won't be reconized

I have always liked the printers that are available from canon; but as stated before was just not happy with the small ink tanks

Absolutely beautiful quality, handles large prints without gulping ink, and works as well on wifi as on ethernet
