The 24-100mm (35mm equivalent) zoom range is fantastic, and you really don't notice the camera stopping down from 1.8 to 2.8 across the zoom

It has a zoom lens at a great range (24mm - 105mm), it has all of the automatic features you could ask for (focus, aperture, film speed, shutter speed).
