The camera is small andis really a pocket size, picture quality is great for the size of the unit, has many nice features and a great feel.

The zoom feature is great and takes clear zoom photos even from far away

This is a great feature that allows you to zoom in decently close while experiencing a minimal degradation in quality

For instance, when taking a picture of my dog at a dusk setting out in my backyard, the Smart AUTO feature chose the settings of an indoor close up shot

The 8x optical zoom is definitely my favorite feature and the photo and video quality is about what you would expect for a camera in this price range

So while this is a great feature be prepared to run into some issues

The main issue with the Smart AUTO feature is that if you are taking pictures in less that ideal situations, the camera might choose settings that basically ruin the picture

Easy to use point-and-shoot camera with good features.

Smart AUTO is honestly a great feature on this camera because you do not have to program your camera for every situation

The time stamp can be customized to display date and time the picture was taken, which is a nice feature
