The battery is wrapped in a sticker with the Canon labeling instead of the text being printed on the battery itself like every other Canon battery I've seen, which leads me to believe it's a generic

Canon is always top of the line.

I will eventually upgrade to a nicer Canon camera, but for now this is perfect and the price is right.

Fool me once Canon....

I have a big Canon DSLR that I dearly love, but it is not the best thing to cart around every day

....seems basic to a camera to include a battery, just like Canon says on the box containing the camera...

The camera has great features and Canon makes fantastic cameras

Battery cost for spares is very reasonable, genuine Canon are around $10.

I love the canon powershot!

nice camera - photos are not as clear as with previous CANON models

Close ups are not as sharp as with my comparable Sony

The images are as sharp as i want them to, the white light balance was off (i know there are options you can mess with for the exposure, etc.)
