a bit disappointed in the picture quality

So far, great camera, but a bit too complex compared to my 12-year old version.

Slighly disappointed with the pictures it makes under less-than-perfect settings.. spending a bit more for a higher quality camera is what I'd do next time.

It lacks a little bit of "fine tuning" that you'd get out of higher end digital SLR's, but it's a great point & shoot camera that takes amazing pictures
