Excellent point and shoot camera!

I personally have a DSLR (Nikon D7200), but for portable point & shoots, I think Canon really is the better option

sx610 seems to have better lens and sensor, but wx80 get more points on being so cute and easy to carry

It lacks a little bit of "fine tuning" that you'd get out of higher end digital SLR's, but it's a great point & shoot camera that takes amazing pictures

I recently went looking for a compact budget point-and-shoot camera as a gift for my daughter's birthday and got to play and evaluate the three cameras that were available at the local BestBuy store on sale for under $
