Zoom is decent for the price and size

It's great to have a nice zoom and portrat mode to blur the background

What's really fun is the zoom

The screen is a lot sharper than on my old camera and the zoom is really neat

It takes great pictures close or far away ( a nice zoom ) videos and the self-timer is a great feature.

The zoom is pretty decent on this camera, and I took some good shots with it without having to spending hours trying to figure out how to work it

I got this camera because it was recommended by a camera shop when I said I wanted to stick to a $200-$300 price range and wanted a decent zoom since I was going to Kenya
