Canon PowerShot SX710 HS - Wi-Fi Enabled (Black)

    • The zoom is incredible, even when using handheld.
    • High MP & zoom, beautiful videos & easy to navigate
    • I have tried a competing brands longer range super-zoom, but this outshines it in the ease of focus and its quickness.
    • It is great small camera with excellent zoom capabilities
    • I was amazed at the clarity of the photo at maximum zoom
    • Amazing zoom for such a small camera
    • Although I don't think I've ever thought to myself when using my S100, 'wow, I really wish this thing zoomed in a bit farther than it does.
    • I often use the 30 X zoom like binoculars to take pictures and then after their processed can zoom in even further.
    • It has enough optical zoom to pull in distant objects but still allows me to stuff it in my pocket and keep it out of view when I am not using it.
    • Very poor manual focus with too little steps.very difficult to see if something is in focus at night with the manual focus (even with the zoom in facility)only saves images in superfine compression when in program modeyou have to delete the current saved, paired device to add a new device, then go to the memory function to retrieve previous paired devices when sharing pictures.image stabilizer not available in program or other manual modes such a Tv, Av and MAs a travel camera, i highly recommend this camera, as you have such a powerful zoom, allowing you to get pictures of objects that are not easily seen by the eye (such as statues on the tops of buildings and details of time pieces on churches and even zoom into buildings to get pictures inside where you are not allowed to enter (normal pocket cameras cannot
    • Compact camera with awesome zoom, great features and amazing picture quality
    • You'll want something to steady the extreme zooms, though
    • The zoom is amazing
    • The aperture is fine for this type of camera, ranging from f/3.2 to 6.9, although again, it won't match the abilities of a super-zoom or DSLR.Both the image and video quality are what you'd expect from Canon.
    • It did a great job: great zoom, easy to use, lot's of neat features
    • I have liked the balance of great zoom but smaller-than-SLR size
    • The optical zoom is smooth and awesome
    • It takes brilliant photographs and has an EXTREMELY clear zoom, both optical AND digital
    • This camera is great, took plenty of shots in the backcountry scenery over the week to board, the optical zoom is phenomenal, the quality of pictures and recording, don't miss out
    • Just to compare for myself, I took the exact same picture with both the SX40 and SX710, with the same image settings - the 40's photo was sharper and had better focus on tiny details, and I expected that from the better lens of the super-zoom.
    • As with all super zoom camera you do have to watch for shaking at the higher zooms.
    • I got some AMAZING shots thanks to the powerful zoom
    • PROS:great quality, easy to use (even for beginners), a nice and easy to follow manual, nice flashlight, amazing zoom, easy to connect to your smart-phone through Near-Field Communication (NFC) build-in wifi, can control your camera through your smartphone and save your pictures into your phone with a feature to resize the pictures but still keep the same great quality so it won't take much room of your smartphone's storage or simply select pics and send them to your cellphone through your camera, large and bright LCD screen with adjustable display contrast, small size and so handy to carry with you on any occasions, rechargeable battery so no need to buy any AAA batteries
    • Sturdy and good zoom
    • I was looking to replace my Kodak Z950 travel zoom after nearly 5 years of service, and was very pleased with the performance of my now 2-year-old Canon SX40 HS super-zoom, so I was going to look at Canon first.
    • The ridiculously powerful zoom lens
    • As zoom lenses improved, I opted for larger-but-better zoom models, including two of Canon's (S3 IS and SX20 IS)
    • As a versatile travel camera, it gives all you want, a powerful zoom lens, and a wide angle for group photos
    • If you're looking for a super zoom point and shoot camera, this is well worth
    • great zoom and pixels.
    • The zoom is unbelievable -out-performs most changeable lens cameras I've had in the past
    • my 4th generation model .... use it to scout locations for commercials, ... great zoom helps to approximate various focal lengths effects/depth of field
    • The 30X zoom that this camera has is one of the longer zooms available that will still collapse down to an almost flat state when shut off (the lens still sticks out about 1/4" from the body when closed). This camera turns on very quickly and is ready to take a picture in less than 1 second.
    • Super good optical zoom.
    • Love the 30X zoom, but unless you're in good daylight, image stabilization may not be enough
    • Great Camera, zoom is fantastic, video is great and it takes great pictures
    • Powerful zoom
    • Love the 30X zoom
    • Haven't used it a lot yet, but zoom is GREAT
    • Takes great pictures and love the zoom
    • great camera with a great zoom
    • The zoom is great, but I do find that maximizing it you will not get the quality you would want, tends to be grainy
    • if you're going on a photo-intensive trip, bird watching, or some similar activity and want "awesome/incredible" pictures, then use a super-zoom or DSLR.
    • The main strength of the camera lies in its powerful zoom, especially for such a small camera
    • * Very sturdy case, incredible zoom, great photos
    • The zoom on this camera is incredible
    • This camera takes great pictures, very crisp and clear even at high zoom
    • With 20M pixels you can afford to use the digital zoom
