It's nice to have a couple of print options, and the color photo printing (especially on good matte photo paper) is exceptional
-
While this doesn't print as fast as my old HP, it certainly prints the most beautiful photos I've ever seen an ink jet do
-
The print quality of the photos is exceptional and I was pleased to see that Canon included a few 6x8 photo paper sheets in the box as well, though quality suffices even printing photos on plain paper.
-
Pros:Prints fantastic photos.
-
It does has 6 ink cartridges, for this is the norm for a good photo printer.
-
This doesn't have those features, but for the price it is an excellent photo printer and highly recommended.
-
I like that it prints photos well.
-
It’s a photo printer first and foremost and a text printer second
-
The photos you get out of it are excellent in quality

Canon printers always, always print great photos

So, I will say that this is quite capable of delivering a beautiful photo onto glossy photo paper

In One printer that printed photos well, had a good scanner, worked wirelessly and could print to from iPhone/iPad.
-
well, just because - I didn't mind because we bought inexpensive inks that printed beautiful prints and even the photo

We do most of our printing in the house with a Color LaserJet, as that is cheaper and goes longer between refills, but we haven't had a proper photo printer for a while
-
I have used Canon cameras for many years, and know of their reputation for good build-quality and reliable photo technology; this noble "bloodline" is evident in the design and function of the Canon printer line.
-
This is a good photo printer.

I'm going with 4 stars, despite my complaints, because it really does print great photos
-
However, the TS8220 can do more flexible photo printing and it can print both smaller and larger sizes than our old printer
-
Lots of ways to print wirelessly, Bluetooth, Wi Fi NFC, AirPrint, Mopria and Google Cloud (which I tested, and it works)Prints a photo in under half a minute.
-
The catch tray is bulky, and lifting a 4 x 6 photo from it is madness since there is no convenient way to grab the pic
-
In addition to being a plain paper printer, the TS8220 is also a reasonable photo printer
-
This one is the best photo printer we've used so far to date
-
I print art cards as well as high-end photos on heavier weight paper
