I printed a sewing pattern and my husband used the 2 sided feature and all were very good quality.

The quality of the printing is superb, with dark blacks and Vivid colors

I have used Canon cameras for many years, and know of their reputation for good build-quality and reliable photo technology; this noble "bloodline" is evident in the design and function of the Canon printer line.

The ink might be a little expensive, because it requires original Canon ink, but the quality of the print is so good that it's worthy, and using individual ink cartridges, one only needs to replace the empty one.

I'm less impressed when scanning photos to reprint, though the quality is good, it isn't pro level, which it doesn't pretend to be.
