This makes it to where the camera is staying on all the time, which I can tell because the LED lights are lit even with the key out of the ignition

The clarity of the camera is fantastic and the led lights really allow me to see what's behind me in the darkest conditions

very clear picture, at night it has pretty good lighting, it has 2 on the camera, which add to the stock back up lights, and it does a pretty good job.

The two little LED lights combined with the vehicle backup lights are just barely enough if an object is within 5 ft of you.

Can't tell if the 2 night LED lights have a good effect at night because I installed the reverse light bar

After installing this I saw the LED lights turn on so that was good

I opted to wire this to the rear tail lights for power ground and ran the video cable to my pioneer head unitIt works well day and the led lights work great at night.

Small LED lights are great to add some light to dark video.

Originally o ran an ignition controlled do power source, but the small LED lights near the camera were on all the time, so I changed the poet to the reverse light

This is especially true for cars with LED lighting, but may apply to some modern cars with incandescent bulbs.

Unless the lighting is perfect, forget it

It didn't seem to adjust well for bright light (i.e. if I was backing up towards the sun, or towards a lamp post at night)

The LEDs at night can be an issue and may cause glare for you, my reverse light are plenty bright and the integrated LEDs cause glare.

There are only two real complainants that I have with this camera, the first one being the bracket blocks about half of my registration sticker, which is illegal in Florida and the other issue is all the lights at night create a glare around the lens, however it is still 100% usable

Update: after complaining to the company's customer service, they shipped me the old model of 170 degree camera, which does not have the LED lights

Led lights beside the camera still come on and has power going to the camera, just no video.

Works ok at night but it seems the led, lights are a bit too bright and interfere with the camera just a bit

Picture is good and clear but one of the led lights stopped working after 2 weeks.

I honestly don't think they'd put out enough light to be worth it even if they didn't bleed light to the camera sensor
