When it says it's a 3.4 fast charger, it really means that one port is 2.4 and the other is 1.0.Even with 2.4 supposedly being a fast charger, it doesn't fast charge at all

Has the 1.0 amp for charging small batteries that can't handle quick, powerful charges.

Since you the blue light around the edges, it shows that outlet and plug are working in case you have a bad charging cord which was my case.

I was buying the charger for the fast charge ability but they do not fast charge.. that being said they charge some what quickly " Samsung s 9 battery at 53% will take 1 hour
