The magnifying glass is nice and clear and big enough to get a real good look at most anything you'll put under it

As I age, I find my glasses to be a nuisance inside my home since I am near-sighted I cannot use my glasses when I work on my laptop, but when looking at crafts with tiny pieces or things, my eyes would hurt wearing my glasses to work, but this lamp gives both the extra lighting as well as bringing everything into detail so I can complete whatever I'm working on.

The glass is decent, for the price

When u hit 40 the eyes start to go for things close up, so doing things like fixing your glasses with new screws becomes impossible

The footprint is great; does't take up a lot of my workspace and the magnifying glass is suitable for the detail work I do.

Love the idea of the hands-free but the glass itself just isn't useful for me.

Magnifying glass is not that bad but have to use other light source for my modeling or other intricate work.

I usually use it running off batteries - it is great for letting you see what you are doing inside a piece of electronics, as well as for reading part numbers off a component
