I really like this magnifier lamp: the base is sturdy, the neck is fully adjustable, the magnifier is nice and big, the light is strong enough

It has a nice large surface area, you can bend the flexible neck to any position where you need the glass to be, it has a built-in light, and it has a small area built into the glass that provides 5x magnification for when you really need a close-up view.
