I do have a glass screen protector which we all know does a fair job of protecting the screen but gets sacrificed in the process

Will do an excellent job of protecting the phone from damage.

Other than that it does a good job protecting the edges of the phone.

It works really well considering the phone itself does not lend itself an easy job for designers to make a case for

The basic plastic will do a decent job protecting, so it is not a total loss.

Good grip though, meaning it's not slippery unless you have sweaty hands

We case is very nice to hold got good grip very easy to put on and take off looks very protective

two things that I don't like: first,the power button is almost impossible to push ;second,the grip is not the best ,a little bit slippery

Maybe Moto will wise up and upgrade the 5G mods with a notch to allow use with bumper covers.

With tempered glass and a decent Moto mod, it's ok at best.

This bumper is one of very few products I've found that will protect a Moto Z3 Play while still allowing use of the battery mod (haven't tried other mods).

So then the bumper cover is only good for protection using the above listed compatible mods.

On the plus side it seems like in can absorb some impact, my mods fit really well, and my girlfriend is happy with the newfound finger strength I've developed from how hard I have to push on the volume/power buttons.

If you don't do this, the mods will be nearly impossible to get on and off

It is way better than I expected, moto mods fit and work great.

And the mods pop right on and off like the should without the case interfering.

It does protect the corners and also allows you to use your moto mods so it does its job in that respect

This case works great, is easy to hold, and protects the corners and edges well.

The corners are slightly larger bumps to help if dropped

but it was inexpensive, it's protecting the outer corners of my phone and allows me to have my mod connected as well.

I like it but could fit a bit snugger, top right corner pops off when I carry my phone in my back pocket

Not terrible but the buttons are too hard to push and the edges of the case are a little sharp and tend to catch on the inside of my pocket.

It seems to be the right fit widthwise, it's more like the long side the reader is on is too long and bows out

The Fit of this case is bad, its sags and is loose in areas and not tight anywhere.

I started using this bumper on April 1 and by May 1 it cracked by the fingerprint reader

I've had this bumper on my phone for about a year now, and love it

All of my Moto Mods fit perfectly and this is the best bumper case I have ever found.

but when I received it, this is only a very thin, flimsy bumper that goes around the edge of the phone

I love that I can still use Moto mods while protecting my phone.

It has already broken as of April 20th 2019

It is sturdy and the finger print reader works, however the power button and volume buttons do not work easily

Product is weak and break break easy not recommend to buy it

This product works far better than the metal edge band from Motorola.

When Moto Mods are attached this becomes a much better product.

Sloppy design I wish it worked with my screen protector everytime I try to use the case it moves the screen protector out of place

I had purchased a different bumper case before this one and it was of poor design and craftsmanship

This case is an improved design from the previous one and fits the phone better.

Moto z3 bumper case showed up promptly and fit the phone fairly snug with exception to the side fingerprint bumper which was a bit loose but did not affect the functionality of the reader

I have to admit I was a bit skeptical about this product at first

It fits pretty well, although it is a bit loose on the side where the fingerprint opening is, probably because the material is so thin in that area.

its just a bit loose, not like it will fall out or anything, just when you grap it the power/vol keys will be pressed.

(Which would definitely also possibly make the bumper a bit weaker up top unless they could do a slight curvature Away from it like they did around the fingerprint scanner.)In conclusion, had I needed to pay full price, I would have passed because I'm on a very small fixed income provided by a disability check, and I just probably couldn't afford to put out that for a phone bumper

Power button doesn't line up well but the other buttons are lined up well and the mods fit on the phone properly

It is nearly impossible to find a good quality case for these Moto's when using mods.

Poor quality, worth a couple bucks at best....

Unfortunately, build quality is cheap and it only lasted about 2 weeks before the plastic cracked over the power port

Case was like a piece of hard plastic, was expecting something a little more like rubber

It's hard rubber also more a flexible plastic but I could understand that it has to be that way to retain the shape around the right side of the phone

The plastic is soft enough to simply pull on around the phone's edges, but will be slightly stretched afterwards.

hard plastic, and button stiff to be pressing it.. not pleasant to use this case at all.
