I like the feature, but is there any way I can turn the touch response off ??

Not only does it do piano (which is all really need it for) but also has lots of great features like dance music, song storage, different instrument sounds, etc.

Our daughter just started piano lessons, the touch sensitive keys are a good feature, she practice in a real piano at school and then complements at home with practice.

Casio CDTK2550This is a nice instrument, fun to play for beginners as well as for more advanced players, although it certainly is not of professional quality

so she could practice in her room as well as on the piano downstairs
