Castlevania: Lords of Shadow - Playstation 3

    • The camera is your worst enemy.
    • When I wasn't gritting my teeth over my endlessly blocked attacks, I was constantly moving to get the enemies back on screen since the camera is terrible.
    • "Lords of Shadow is a beat'em up game with solid combat, a good story, beautiful graphics, good voice acting, but a terrible camera
    • You cannot look around with the camera view---it sucks when you get to some beautiful levels and you want to look around but all you can do is look down at your character, lol
    • The thing that seems lacking during battles is the annoying camera angle which isn't rotatable, making it frustrating at times to see who you're fighting
    • The camera works well for me
    • In an effort to be cinematic, the camera occasionally shifts directions at the most annoying possible times, confusing you on which direction you are traveling which can sometimes even give the completely utterly linear progress from my previous point sort of "feel" like it's not linear, but only because you accidentally started backtracking because suddenly right is left and vice versa.
    • There were some frustrating moments with the bad camera angles (one spot in chapter 11 especially) and parts where the game had my adrenaline boiling for more and suddenly
    • Perhaps the weakest aspect of the game is the troublesome fixed camera, which sometimes makes precise platforming hard to pull off in certain situations
    • The camera can be highly problematic at times
    • Other press reviews have stated the camera can be problematic.

    • Yes there are problems with the game, some lack of polishing here, a bad camera angle there
    • Reminiscent of the Resident Evil franchise pre-4, and MGS3, static camera angles are...a love it or leave it issue
    • The camera will sometimes work against you (happens to me anyway) when trying to time a block for a parry, but other than that, the control is great, and the whip mechanics are pretty much near-perfect
    • Often the game's camera will pan out allowing you to view a large area
    • Be sure watch through the credits (assuming there's an option to skip).Pros:Gorgeous gameplayGood voice actingFun to playCons:The camera can be weird at timesIn

    • Camera is fixed but works very well.
    • The camera is not the worse I've ever seen but it can get frustrating at times, but truthfully it's not to the point where you would be deprived of an enjoyable experience with this game
    • ; it's 2011, the camera shouldn't be the biggest enemy in the game anymore.
    • In great Castlevania fanfare, Gebriel gathers relics that boost his powers as he learns new moves and acquires subweapons
    • Many of the boss fights are quite epic and amazing as you move along
