With this to me even though it is a plywood cello it still has a decent tone for the price

Not only is it more difficult for students to hear the pitch and learn to tune, but the tone is so bright that many tuners pick up the 5th or the 3rd instead of the root.

This made it impossible to tune, stabilize, and create a good tone
