It was somewhat of a surprise how convenient this thing turned out to be

The voice control is one of the most important things.

this thing can be a major pain in the butt setting up.

I wouldn't say that's a bad thing though because it's always funny when it happens.

While Alexa can be "serious" just carrying out specific tasks you ask of her, Alexa also has a sense of humor by telling jokes, plays fun games with you like "Hangman", and encourages you by telling you positive things like telling you are beautiful.

It is capable of so many amazing things I would think that it would be a simple thing for my grocery list to be sent to my phone

I would give five stars, but after having it for a while, the only thing is smart enough to do for us is give weather and traffic reports, and turn our lights on and off.... most expensive light switch ever

I wasn't especially impressed with the echo, far too many things just pointed me to using the echo app on my phone, which kinda defeats the point

She can do so many great things.

She loves it, besides the fact that Alexa randomly says inappropriate things when no one is talking to her

And you can play around with it and have Alexa say some pretty funny things!

That being said, this thing is frustrating, daily I have to unplug it and re plug it back

I love that it is always updating with more features daily and she has so many awesome things for the kids!

The sound is superb, with a very high volume, the only bad thing about this device is that if is in the maximum volume it won't be able to catch up the wake up word Alexa when you call it

The number of skills (additional things it can do) has gone from a few to what seems like a few hundred

I must admit I didn't understand how cool these things were , but once you say turn on tv or turn on light you get it

n’t bother asking how can you play music for eight hours, or something like “Alexa, play music all day”
