I had to use a Magic Eraser, but it does say that this is a possible cleaning issue on the packaging

I find that the best way to erase the markers is with Mr. Clean Magic Eraser

but it can be easily removed if you have a magic eraser

They are a bit hard to erase, but use a magic eraser and it does a good job.

Be sure you have water AND a magic eraser on hand

It says it can be wiped off with a magic eraser

The chalk board was advertised as slate and clearly was not, and the chalk markers are advertised to get rid of ghosting with a magic eraser and vinegar and that is also untrue

It took scrubbing with a magic eraser and dish soap to remove the color.

Sure, magic eraser will get off most anything (still not these on some surfaces) but you should not have to get this far or advertise another product to clean up yours if not listed properly

The markers will work as an eraser if you go over the same area before it dries

After a little water and light swipes of the magic eraser, there were no marks on that chalkboard.

The markers were used within the past hour and I am now using a magic eraser (as recommended in other complaints) and scrubbing so much that the magic eraser is shredding

The only thing that would completely erase these markers from my chalkboard was Mr. Clean magic erasers.

I also found that a magic eraser will work in a pinch to get the majority of it off and then you can go back with a wet rag for the rest later.

Ultimately had to use a Mr. Clean magic eraser to remove the marker ink.

Chalk did not work on the chalk board I purchased but gave to friends who can use and works as it should on their chalk board
