The chalkboard pen writes well and it is a very bright white, and since the labels are reusable I can also use them for things like place settings when I have friends over for dinner, and even for special offers and labeling displays at work

The pen they sent writes smoothly and does not smudge

My complaints are that the pen doesn't erase well, the labels have to "dry" as they feel sticky after you write on them, and after it does dry it does not come off.

I love the variety of sizes and the pen works well.

The pen is also nothing like chalk and it doesn't erase with the eraser that they provide
