A higher gain antenna did not improve performance on these channels, but at the same time other weaker channels showed uniformly excellent signal quality.

We have had a really good antenna system with a CM-7777 amplifier ever since the digital transition, but slowly over time the reception got worse and worse and finally just stopped working

If you're getting those channels by antenna, they are broadcast at lower frequencies now, so this filter won't remove them or interfere with your ability to receive them
