This filter is suppose to decrease the signal when added before a booster by up to 4db (decreasing the carrier voltage containing the signal, once the signal is lost it can not be recovered).

I love this filter because it will help fix poor receptions on your TV set.

If you're getting those channels by antenna, they are broadcast at lower frequencies now, so this filter won't remove them or interfere with your ability to receive them

The filter is very effective, especially above 728 MHz (above UHF channel 56)

Placeing just a single filter close to the TV (up to 4db loss divided by at least 5 and likely more for a loss much less than 1db- a HUGH improvement) worked excellently and rates the device 5 stars.
