I am a bit skeptical about running a lithium ion battery to that level because these types should not need to be run so low to exercise it.

I realize protection isn't the case's main purpose, but a tiny bit more material would have made a big difference

On the plus side, i was expecting a bit of a drop in reception according to some reviewers but in my case, it actually improved my signal according to the status

My best advice for this battery is to slow charge a few cycles of a full charge and full discharge once a month as the battery tends to lose a little bit of capacity after a few months
