Just the right length to run between fixtures, position the lights as I need them, and tie the slack to the bar on the stand.
Length is good for my needs, connectors seems pretty solid, may not be the top of the line item for DMX, but for the common dj with lights, it should do.
I like the price and length of it, but the hard plastic part of the cable encasing the male piece has already cracked after 3 uses

This is the first DMX cable I've ever purchased, because I'm a sole believer that with some sodering work, you can use ethernet cable and attach XLR ends and make your own inexpensive, custom length DMX lines
