The length of this cable is perfect for linking just one pedal.
I purchased 2 of these cables and they are just the right length to go from my sound board to my rack where my compressor is.
Although this item was advertized as a feed for an FX peripheral, I just wanted a Y-cable of a decent length and durability to connect a keyboard to a mixer.
Cable is sturdy and the perfect length for me to use through with the effects loop on my board.
Great basic insert cable, right angles are good for tight rack spaces.
They're also not quite a 90 degree right angle, closer to 95 or so.
Right angle cables for use in pedalboard effect loops, despite being low-cost they don't seem to have a negative effect on tone.
It stole an unnecessary amount of pedalboard space and I know I can't really fault Hosa, but this cable seems to be my only option to make this happen and right angles would have made this better.

It separates the stereo input into the left and right channels.
The mono ends are clearly and correctly marked for Ring (Red, Right-channel, Return) and Tip (White, Left-channel, Send).
Works as it should between an audio interface and headphone amp.
It enables you connect/use two channels at once, like in my application, i get more gain/power from the keyboard Amp by plugging into two separate channels, and you can use more channels (in my case, four) on your keyboard Amp by using both the Left and Right output from your keyboard
The 1/4" leads are labeled with "ring" and "tip" so you know for sure which is the left and right channel.
Some inexpesive products can be just as good, but you will usually pay more for the good ones.

The cord still seems to be holding up well after two years (studio use only) and I would recommend this product as a low price point solution for home studio use.
I bought this cable for our soundboard at church, works as described, price was excellent, received in a timely matter would recommend this to anybody that needs same cable.
