Reviews around sound (5.00 of 5)

  • If you want a rich tonal sound, this is a cable to have as a primary
  • Besides the vanity reason, this an excellent sounding lead.
  • The sound is rather warm and they are slightly lower output than some, but that is not exactly a bad thing
  • Besides the vanity reason, this an excellent sounding lead.

Reviews around length (5.00 of 5)

  • Just make sure choose the right length since the coils make the cable much shorter than a regular 10, 20 ft cable.
  • Just be sure you get the appropriate length for what you intend to use it for.

Reviews around cord (4.77 of 5)

  • For everyone who liked the old Whirlwind cords, this is the one to get.
  • These are great cords - bought one a month or so back; a friend of mine saw it and just had to have
  • Every bit as good as my old Whirlwind cord - maybe better!
  • If you like a coil cord (I do) and you can hear the difference between lousy cords and good ones then I challenge you to try these
  • A good quality coil cord that's not too long or heavy and sounds great!

Reviews around quality (4.64 of 5)

  • I love the way this cord is built and the quality of the connections
  • Not too heavy, not too long, quality materials and not ridiculously overpriced.
  • Most cables of this type are of a much cheaper quality, but not this one
  • Other than that mistake on my end, this is a great quality cable, and I would reccomend it
  • that's associated with poor cable quality, so I feel good in recommending these.

Reviews around angle (4.40 of 5)

  • There is one strait edge (no drugs) and one right angle, not so perfect for testing centripetal force but both ends fit in a quarter inch input
  • There is one strait edge (no drugs) and one right angle, not so perfect for testing centripetal force but both ends fit in a quarter inch input
  • The right angle end prevents the soldering from cracing, too.
  • Wish the right angle end was a little so it could be tucked behind a guitar strap, though.
  • When I'm playing sitting down with my Epiphone Nighthawk, it has the input jack on the edge like a Les Paul...the right angle jack sits more flush to the guitar so it doesn't get pushed around much

Reviews around coil (4.16 of 5)

  • These Coil cables never break because the coil absorb the tension when pulled instead of the end connector solder joints.
  • It's thick and the coil is very strong, it stays tight, which helps me when I walk around my gear during playing
  • That said, the two I bought are perfect thus far; nice heavy coiled cable, the plugs feel solid, there is no highend loss due to high capacitance, no intermittency, the strain relief is robust, etc
  • Perfect coils and resembles a snake, if that is your fetish.
  • Good retro coiled cable at this price, been years since I used a coiled cable.

More about GLS Audio 20 Foot Curly Guitar Instrument Cable - Right Angle 1/4 Inch TS to Straight 1/4 Inch TS 20 FT Cord 20 Feet Phono 20' 6.3mm - SINGLE

  • You will love our PROFESSIONAL SERIES 20 ft Guitar Cables
  • They have a nice flexible curly jacket (not the stiff plastic jacket like others sell)
  • Our cables have Oxygen-Free Copper for both the center conductor and the insulator shield
  • Plus our cables are double shielded with a Conductive PVC and OFC Insulator Shield
  • And most importantly, our cables have an EXTREMELY low Picofarad rating
  • Have you ever wondered why one guitar cable sounds better than another? They may look the same, but sound totally different? The main reason is the Picofarad rating
  • Most guitar cables have a high Picofarad rating
  • Some as high as 200 Picofarads per foot
  • A cable with a high Picofarad rating is much cheaper to make, and they will still work, but they will not sound as good
  • Our cables are rated at an EXTREMELY LOW 28 Picofarads per foot (AWESOME)
  • Most guitar cable manufactures will not even give you their rated Picofarads because they are so high
  • Why would you want to use a cheap cable with a hard plastic cover, no flexibility, and a high Picofarad rating? A good cable is just as important as a good guitar or amp
  • Our cables have an external rubber heat shrink strain relief, internal rubber booty strain relief, AND an internal metal clamp strain relief
  • This triple strain relief system allows for many years of trouble free usage.
