I haven't noticed these being any noisier than factory cables, so quality seems good.

The materials felt well made, I hate buying cheap cables but this was good quality

Other places charge up to twice as much for this kit, but if you can get it inexpensively I feel its a great product and worth the cost.

This is kind of a niche product I think as you would need to have a use for the tips included, but if you do this is a solid product.

Very cool system

This system is very easy to use and great if you are putting together a pedal board that will sit in your room and never move

I'm giving this four stars because a few more ends would have been fair to include at this price

The ends on this new kit are more compact, which works on a board

Problem is there are not enough ends for 50 ft of cable and extra ends are hard to find especially the right angle ones and they are over 8 bucks a pop!

After 2 or 3 you'll stop making mistakes and they'll all work the first time

I am not opposed to soldering cables--I do it all the time

A couple of things to note: As usual when cutting anything to size, take your time to measure a couple of times and I would recommend that you leave a bit of “wiggle room” (about an inch for close pedals and three inches for pedals that are larger and have odd in/out connections like in the back or front etc) this will allow you to move your pedals around as you organize them (specially while using Velcro)

One complaint about the actual product: the straight plugs are not secure

The kit comes with a tool for cutting the cables, and for attaching the proper plugs

I like the mix of angled and straight plugs, but some may prefer more straight plugs.

The problem is that a secure connection isn't always guaranteed, and I ended up with more dead cables than ones that I had a signal running through

It would be nice if you could get just the cable and connectors you need for the same price as the kit, but I guess that is why the kit is cheaper than buying separately.

Other than that, I love this kit and look forward to making more cables, and buying supplies to keep going after the kit runs out

So, unless this kit solves your problem completely, this is a really expensive option
