Reviews around angle (5.00 of 5)

  • The right-angle plug is molded on and the straight plugs innards are encased in plastic.
  • The right angle quarter inch will not lock inside a Tele.
  • One end of the cable is straight, the other is a right angle
  • The only thing to mention is that this cord has a straight plug on one end and a right-angle plug on the other.
  • Input jack to guitar is designed at a right angle, so the chance that the chord gets pulled out accidentally is rather remote than if it was made with a straight input instead.

Reviews around duty (5.00 of 5)

  • this cable is heavy duty, great for serious players and anyone looking for a cable that won't get tangled up everywhere or break down
  • Hard to find at big box music stores great for home studio and can stretch and recoil a great distance no negative noise etc excellent heavy duty cord
  • Sounded great , very heavy duty & no noise other than the killer Bass Guitar tone

Reviews around plug (5.00 of 5)

  • Also I crunched a plug at one point, and vox honored the lifetime warranty.
  • The right-angle plug is molded on and the straight plugs innards are encased in plastic.
  • The right-angle plug fits perfectly into a Les Paul, but doesn't fit properly into a Strat or a Tele.

Reviews around coil (5.00 of 5)

  • It's shielded well so you don't loose signal over the 30 ft, the coils keep it neat on stage but it will expand when you need it to, and best of all, it looks cool.
  • This is probably the best coil guitar cable on the market
  • Awesome coil guitar cable, made with high quality components, sounds fantastic, looks great, no more tangles.

Reviews around way (5.00 of 5)

  • but I like the way this sounds and doesn't need to be rolled up when I but my guitar away.
  • the length of the cable is misleading in a good way, it stretches so you have more room to rock around

Reviews around cord (4.66 of 5)

  • Cool cord works well but the right angle end has been made thick, presumable for strength and to put the VOX logo on, but this keeps it from connecting fully into the recessed jack on my Telecaster
  • I used this cord on a 2 night gig & am blown away by how good it sounded
  • This cord is great for standing and walking around without having to worry about getting all tangled up and befuddled!
  • Great looking cord, took a bit of wiggling around to get it to work in the first place
  • The cord itself works well and the vintage look of the curls is interesting.

Reviews around guitar (4.47 of 5)

  • This is probably the best coil guitar cable on the market
  • This is a great guitar cable.. really all that needs to be said.
  • My guitar sounds fine and works perfectly with any other cable i have tried
  • Great guitar cable, it does what it says on the description, and I am not complaining, because it works great.

Reviews around length (4.45 of 5)

  • Great cable, easily managed, perfect length, carry sack was nice to have!
  • Don't be misled, although the description states it's 30' long, because of the coiling there is probably only 12-15' of usable length
  • Very solid cable, great length, just what I was looking for.
  • The length was just about right, maybe 10' when not stretched.
  • the length of the cable is misleading in a good way, it stretches so you have more room to rock around

Reviews around look (4.33 of 5)

  • Great looking cord, took a bit of wiggling around to get it to work in the first place
  • If you like the look, and get a cable that is plenty long, it seems like a worthwhile investment; however, if you are debating between this and the retro cables of Spectraflex, save some money, get more flexibility, and buy the Spectraflex.
  • This cable has that classic vintage look and probably is superior to the cables of the 1960s
  • Which is really why I was wanting a cord with a 90° end, to get a smoother look to the cord and to be able to sit and not worry about the extra 2" catching on things
  • I really like the vintage look of coiled cables, and since I use a VOX amp I figured I'd buy these

Reviews around quality (4.30 of 5)

  • When given the choice between the Fender Coil, the Bullet, or the Vox I'd rule out the Fender because of the poor quality and the Bullet because I've heard it's heavier and more expensive
  • Very chunky, oozes quality.
  • not sure if the sound quality is better, but it sounds on point.
  • I was looking for a better quality cables than the cheap Fender cables that keep breaking on me
  • Connection and fidelity is just as good as the high quality cable it replaced and it doesn't contribute to the pickup of any unnecessary radio signal or static (which can be a problem with longer/coil cables)
