Chauvet Lighting Chauvet DJ 700 Hurricane Fog Machine, Black (H700)

    • The only thing that I would say is a negative aspect of this fog machine is that while it is heating up and preparing itself to produce fog, it creates a somewhat strong burning smell, that smells kind of like if you held an iron on a piece of clothing for to long and it began to burn
    • not happy with the fogger, my guests didn't like the smell and it irritated them, I will be returning this.
    • Also, the Chauvet fog juice has a funky smell to it, and my other fogger's juice didn't have any scent at all.
    • It just got insanely hot, started smoking (but not from the fog), smelled like melted plastic
    • The smell is truly disturbing and really puts the question into your mind as to what you are breathing in a fine, mist form
    • A couple of things to caution you about, the fog is not odorless - if you have a smell-sensitive client, they will be able to smell the fog for several hours after your fog making session is over, and I'm not totally sure about this next one, but after a heavy fog session, it seemed like everything in my studio had a light coating of glycerine on it that has to be removed by someone with real hands, glass cleaner and a strong arm..

    • The free included fog juice was a welcome freebie, and it doesn't have a very strong smell, so you could use it indoors without much worry
