Overall, though, it's a great quad that's worth the money, but it has a few downsides.

It's a great package for the price, and once you master a craft like this, you'll be more ready to have a positive experience with a larger, more expensive drone.

When you compare how much it cost vs its function it's an extremely good value.

It can already be hard enough to get in position for a good picture, but to then have to remove your hand from the controls to punch a rather small button on your phone screen, makes even more difficult

If you are not in high winds, it allows you to get easier pictures when in mode 1 speed and cruising around at the same altitude with little effort

It works fairly well, as others have mentioned, it is very low resolution, so don't expect stellar pictures / video

It's reasonably responsive to the controls, but be aware a craft/controller this light and

I found this to be a perfect way to get started.

Please be aware that my praise respects the cost of this drone.

Then simply open the app and hit start!Comes with all the parts and pieces you need including a lovely mini green screwdriver and a fun little gadget to clip your phone onto the top of the controller so you can watch your streaming footage while flying.

Nice toy to learn to fly

Syma makes the best toy drones for the money in my opinion

The battery stays connected, no issues there, but it is different from other Syma X5 model variants

If you already have Syma X5 models, the batteries you have for those will not work for this helicopter

Also when the battery gets low it just stops it doesnt even spin the blades which causes you to think there is something wrong and not the batteries.

X5 batteries are pretty cheap and plentiful, just not for this model.
