CHULUX Single Serve Coffee Maker Brewer for Single Cup Capsule with 12 Ounce Reservoir,Black

    • It heats the water until it boils and then starts steaming and spewing out the top.
    • Now I’ve got two boxes of k cups that I will have to open and add to boiling water.
    • WATER IS PRETTY HOT.
    • Water would not drain from area you pour the water.
    • I was also surprised to find out that the upper nozzle that punctures and sprays hot water into the pod was made of plastic instead of stainless steel like the bottom nozzle.
    • The water seems to be hot enough and the portion sizes consistent.
    • The only comment I have is that the light blinks until the water is hot, then it will brew.
    • Not very happy with at the end even when purified water was only used on it.
    • One week after the return date passed the POS will not brew a cup of coffee without spilling half the hot water on my cupboard
    • when you lift the top lid to dump in water, there's a small filter basket with a screen that filters any bits that may try sneaking in when you dump your water in.
    • We tested it with coffee and also used it to make hot water for Tea.
    • I cannot even use this to make hot water for tea.
    • No need for a touch screen or a large water reservoir like a Keurig model
    • Problem seems to be air trapped in system preventing water from entering
    • I don't think the water gets hot enough for the coffee.
    • ( phoned in to check the recall and convey the spilling problem and explain that the machine was 'caving in and splitting the foil cover of the pod allowing the hot water and grounds to spill out
    • Even better is having the hot water poured directly on top of my loose leaf tea in a strainer or over a tea bag
    • Set up is very easy, just plug the machine in, open up the top to add a mug of fresh water into the reservoir, place a kcup into the front part then lock back down, press the start button and in just about 3 minutes you have a cup of fresh brewed coffee, plus the machine turns itself off after each use.
    • if you just need a quick cup of hot water for tea or something...less than 2 minutes! Also, like some reviews suggest, I do push the k-cup down to poke the hole before closing the lid since some people were having problems if they
    • The water just steams and leaks from the machine and does not come out to make a cup of coffee
    • Fresh water and a fast brew
    • I've had to add hot water to the reservoir, even tho the machine is supposed to heats the water up, otherwise, it does not empty the whole hot chocolate cup.
    • First, water leaks out of the bottom and onto my counter every single time I use it
    • After very few uses, I find it spilling and spewing steam and water from the top all over the counter and it isn't spilling water into the cup
    • The instructions states if it keep blinking turn it OFF, I only put enough water in it to make ONE cup .
    • Well it was a good six months until the water just started leaking the bottom
    • 2 minutes and 10 seconds for 8 oz. of cold tap water to run through the machine
    • at some point had the small side stop working, rather it be the kcup or hot water side
    • Makes coffee too strong, but at least it doesn't "spit" hot water while brewing.
    • She contacted customer service because it wasn't sucking up water for the coffee.
    • This little machine is small and easily transported and there's no need to worry about water leaking all over the place because you only add enough water for your cup of coffee, leaving nothing left in the reservoir to spill out.
    • burned out and wouldn't recycle the hot water after 3 monthsJunk don't buy it get a real K machine for a few dollars more
    • The upper reservoir doesn't hold enough water, leading me to have to fill it up at least 3 times just to fill one 10oz mug
    • The water is hotter and just makes a better cup of coffee, tea, or whatever kcup you want to use!
    • For the last two weeks I have had to trick it into taking enough water for a full cup.
    • perfect, does the job, very hot water, small footprint.
    • It takes about 5 tries before I have a decent amount of hot water
    • Quality is every bit as good as a larger one cup machine but with fresh water every time.
    • After brewing one cup, there will be a puddle of dark coffee/water under the unit.
    • I'll take the cup out since the water is so hot but pouring in the cup of water and popping in the K-Cups when we use them kids can do that easily
    • I want the water to be hot, but I also want it fast.
    • I think because of the slower water flow of this mini brewer, the slow steeping pulls out more of the coffee flavor.
    • Water gets too hot for coffee but is fine for tea and cocoa.
    • Heats the water nice and hot
    • I did run it with just water for the first use like suggested
    • It's now become a hot water maker for when I want tea.
    • Then the water wouldn't drain and when it did, it didn't feel the coffee cup
    • This coffee maker boils the water to very hot condition, coffee comes out clear without any peaces, like I saw somebody was posting a picture on here
    • I had one of those huge Kuerig's that takes up counter space and is a pain in the ass to clean the water that is stored in the internal tank
    • I do remove the k cup as soon as it's done brewing and run a water and a little vinegar once in a while to clean it out
    • It gives me hot water for my daily instant oatmeal
    • Rivals my Keurig in speed... especially if I use warm water
    • It holds 12oz of water & heats it up in about 3 minutes just like a Keurig
    • The problem we are having is that it is apparently leaking coffee/water.
    • I also use it to for a fast cup of hot water for cup of noodles, tea or whatnot just works great
    • First k cup practically exploded sending hot water and coffee grounds all over the counter
    • The water is always hot and the flavor is excellent.
    • Not very happy with at the end even when purified water was only used on it.
    • You fill it up with water for each use that i love, i dont like the water just sitting in it and its easy to clean
    • But now the water will not drain
    • so either you buy purified water or deal with the tap.
    • It fits easily on my desk, is out of the way and the water gets really hot in a matter of minutes.
    • Boil your water in the microwave, pour it in the french press with a heaping scoop of coffee, and let steep like tea for a few minutes before serving
    • Barely any water comes through anymore and customer service doesn't like to respond
    • It heats the water plenty hot, better then my Mr Coffee Keurig machine, I may use this instead from now on altho I can only brew one cup and have to add more water each use.
    • Heats the water properly, works way better than the other non-keurig k-cup brewer I used to have - actually gets the water through the pod and not around it.
    • When the pump started it filled the K-cup with hot water and eventually the whole mess blew out around the top seal since there was no hole in the bottom
    • I did not want a Kureg that lets the warm water sit in the machine, seems unsanitary
    • One for turning on the machine and one for warming up water
    • I also cleaned the removable drip spout, the rubber drip spout ring, the drip tray, and the water filter basket piece with lukewarm water and soap
    • Works great, very hot for coffee or just hot water for tea, I use it in my camper or when my Kerrigan goes down in my kitchen.
    • Stopped pumping hot water after less than a year, and we only used it 4 to 5 times a month
    • Does what it says & works as described- just be aware (as it states) that it only holds enough water for the one cup
    • Its exactly what I wanted, a Kcup brewer, no water reservoir, quiet, auto turn off, and makes great coffee
    • Now when I try to pour in a coffee cup full of purified water, it will not fill the unit.
    • You do have to measure the water each time but that avoids letting water sit in the tank like a Keurig
    • I have had one eruption of grounds-filled hot water before (not with this machine) like other reviewers have described
    • But recently the drain where you put the water, won't take the water it just over flows and the water sits there
    • The small amount of water it allows will make about 1/8 of a cup of hot water
    • I also poured warm water into the machine, closed and locked the lid, shook the machine up and down, and then poured the water out, and repeated twice more
    • Like having fresh water for each cup!
    • The k took up valuable real estate on my counter and I hated having water become stagnant in that reservoir and cleaned it when I wanted a cup of coffee😉
    • I also like that it doesn't have a traditional water reservoir that sits holding hot water and breeding bacteria and mildew all the time
    • The flavor of the coffee was much improved over my BUNN or Keurig, both of which brew with cooler water
    • I would suggest that anyone using a pod coffee maker use good water that has been filtered
    • I especially appreciate that the water gets hotter than my bigger Keurig brewer I have at home, since I like my coffee lawsuit-hot
    • but it doesn't show you the water level like most coffee makers do
    • I tried this the first ,second and third time and each time it only took less than 2 minutes and the coffee came out like dirty water and was so weak it didn't even taste like coffee and no way to adjust it to make the coffee stronger
    • I also like to put fresh water in for each cup instead of having the water sit in the tank.
    • You basically have to poor water into your mug & then into the machine from your mug to make sure there is the right amount so it won't overflow or be right at the edge, but of course you're likely to spill some water.
    • I thought maybe I didnt add enough water but that not the case
    • Water boiled but never pushed into the k-cup.
    • You could even just use it as a water boiler to get piping hot water in just under 3 minutes
    • The only issue that has been any annoyance has been when the water has been slow to fill
    • It sounds like it's heating the water
    • Machine won't warm up the water
    • This is more sanitary for my preference also since you only put in enough water for each brew instead of having extra water just sitting in the reservoir.
    • It must be the pump, cause it doesn't leak water
    • It will heat the water, but the water comes out everywhere except into the mug, so there a mess all over the counter, and no coffee in my mug
    • Tried cleaning, replacing water, turning off and on multiple times
    • I've used a shared office Keurig once that had stagnant water unbeknownst to me..never again
    • And with no water tank, the water stays clean and fresh.
    • Quick hot water for cocoa as well
    • Seems more sanitary also..no water tank to worry about.
    • If you just close the lid the cup may not be punctured on the bottom and the water will come out the top instead of going into your cup
    • I was looking for a k-cup maker for a small office where there is no running water and daily cleaning a drip maker would not be practical.
    • The k took up valuable real estate on my counter and I hated having water become stagnant in that reservoir and cleaned it when I wanted a cup of coffee😉
    • It is also used as hot water for dried soups and cocoa, etc
    • When water is hot enough, it begins to brew
    • It has 4 holes that deliver hot water to the K-cup which may get clogged.
    • I also poured warm water into the machine, closed and locked the lid, shook the machine up and down, and then poured the water out, and repeated twice more
    • Per the instructions, I brewed plain water first to clean the water tank before using fir the first time
    • This makes the water filling issue rather minor in my book.
    • I use a funnel now to help poor the water is slowly enough and at the right angle.
    • It takes a while to heat the water just like when you first put water in a Keurig
    • No hot water makes it through the K-cup into the cup.
    • Fresh water = fresh coffee!
    • It does not over boil the water, and then burn the coffee (giving that horrid bitter yuck taste
    • My one issue is that the water only get warm
    • It exploded the k cup and shot hot water and grounds all over my counter.
    • I do miss the ability to choose my brew strength or ounces as I could with my Keurig
    • I have previously owned three Kehrig coffee maker's and I am just loving this new coffee maker is that I got from CHULUX, the coffee comes out very hot and it is just as good as, if not better than the Keurig machines I have had.
    • It works exactly as it says in the
    • Not thrilled with the little drip catcher as it cannot be removed to dump and clean, but can easily work around that.
    • I love this as per others' reviews
    • When it is not working as it should, it starts brewing and about half way through something happens and the k-cup explodes blowing coffee grounds out the sides and into your coffee cup below
    • If it worked as it should I would have given it 5 stars
    • They have used it off and on for about a year now and it works as it should about 50% of the time
    • A week after I posted my original review, the water stopped going into the container as well as before
    • Works as it should.
    • n’t work very well
    • t's perfect for an office and makes a quick, hot cup of coffee, perfect for one
    • The only refillable I found that fits this machine is the Melitta e-filter Reusable Coffee Filter (not currently available on Amazon)
